Nearly half a tonne of cocaine, dropped in open water for small boats to scoop up before it reached European shores, has been seized in a sea operation co-led by Frontex. Some 14 countries spent a month targeting drug traffickers at sea before seizing the 454 kg of cocaine and arresting 5 suspects.
